THE MIRROR WITHOUT IMAGE

In 1995 an offshore survey in the Timor Sea detects a grid of streets and buildings 280 metres below the surface: a replica of a Japanese city on the wrong side of the world.

A 72-minute analog-horror feature told entirely through pseudo-archival recordings about what was found beneath the Timor Sea. The author blends AI, CG and found-footage aesthetics. Voice in chapter 17: @CursedContent.
